Farmhouse De Hoeve B&B

A charming English Bed and Breakfast on the outside of a tiny peaceful village called Tonden 
Arnhem, Deventer, Zutphen, Brummen, Doesberg, Bronkhorst and The National Park Hoog Veluwe are all within easy striking distance!

Infact a day visit to Amsterdam or Utrecht is also an option as nothing is very far away in Holland

The nearest train station is Voorst/Empe, Zutphen is also nearby, there is a buurtbus, number 504 to and from Zutphen

We have added more and more garden, trees and hedges around the house. There is definitely a very English feel about this corner of Tonden, infact we always make a joke that people should bring their passport when visiting here !

You have your own private entrance to the B&B, which is in the front of the house and  seperate to our house.

There are lots of different spots where you are welome to sit in the garden.

The nearest shops are the Coop in Voorst which is 5 km from Tonden or the Jumbo in Eerbeek, which is 6½ km away

From the kitchen there are stairs up to the bedrooms and bathroom

This is the main bedroom with a king size bed, the room is big, 32m²

There are dressing gowns, slippers, a fan and night lights available 

The bed is super comfortable and the bed linen, towels and facecloths are from "The White Company" in London

If you stay with just two people the second bedroom doubles up as a sittingroom. This is the second room as a sitting room.

If you are sharing the B&B with 4 people we think one bathroom is not enough, so, we have made the bathroom next door to the B&B available for you to use too

Farmhouse De Hoeve is just outside Tonden, this is a view of the village

The B&B is on the Haarweg, a quiet road. There are plenty of walks and bycycle rides around Farmhouse De Hoeve, most of the roads are very quiet

There are great walks to be had on the Empe-Tondense Heide which is very close to the B&B

A sandy lane leads of the Haarweg so that one can get off the road too

In the opposite direction from the farmhouse there are woods where one can walk.......

............. So, there are enough walks and indeed bike rides in the area, there are also quite a few klompenpadden walks. Just ask me about them
